We are, of course, more than our jobs. Or even the long list of jobs that we have held. What Lies Beyond for me includes a crazy cat (pictured), upcoming nuptials (I can't wait to be married!
Patrick Beeson and I will tie the knot in October), knitting (sadly, not enough as of late), spreadsheets (yes, indeed, spreadsheets), and any number of fascinations that take hold long enough to keep me energized for a few days, before they are taken up by another. It's interesting when one of those fascinations sticks around. I've collected several: pop blogs (popsugar.com, dlisted.com, mollygood.com, to name my most visited); mathematics (as evidence: my spreadsheets, and the obsessive watch I keep over our budget); coffee shops (I am sitting in one as write this, and I'm likely sitting in one as you read this); intermittent laziness.
